Abstract :
In this paper a narrow-band interference (NBI) suppression structure in a DSSS system based on parameter estimation is presented. The interference is an AR process with high power level relative to DSSS signal, whose parameters can be estimated exactly with Yule-Walker method. The novel interference suppression structure will present a better performance than the traditional adaptive filter, i.e. linear forward prediction (LEP). The criterion used for the evaluation of the performance of the interference rejection algorithm is the Pe as a function of Eb/n0 and SJR, which is obtained by computer simulations. In addition, a fast algorithm to compute the autocorrelation function of the FIR filter output signal is presented too, and its validity has been proved by the simulation results.
