Abstract
A T-cascade passive digital filter synthesis method is presented to realize real and complex digital filters in the z-domain. Symmetric and antimetric digital filters can be realized by this method in canonic form. A complex lossless two-pair is proposed to realize complex filters. The real lossless two-pair is its special case. A new real lossless two-pair is derived from the complex one to realize real antimetric filters. Two examples are discussed.<>
