Abstract :
The purpose of this paper is to derive a closed-form expression for the error rate performance of the multicarrier (MC) direct-sequence (DS) CDMA system, where the tapped-delay line fading channel model with an additive white Gaussian noise is employed. A novel method is introduced to reduce the effects from the multipath delay under this correlated fading channel situation. Numerical results demonstrate that the performance of the MC-DS-CDMA system under this frequency-selective slow fading channel is better than that of the MC-CDMA system.
