Abstract
Due to the remote environment of WSN, it is of great necessity for users to control and access remotely, which also needs support from WAN (such as Internet).Various applications show the usefulness of a sensor network increases when the wireless sensor network (WSN) is connected to an IP-based network and medical monitoring is a typical application. We focused on address allocation and proposed a hierarchical address allocation scheme which is especially suitable for medical monitoring system. And before this we introduced architecture of medical monitoring system based on IPv6 sensor networks.
