  • Abstract
    MIMO is a main technique of improving system capacity in wireless communication, but its application is limited by spatial correlation and requirement of traditional VBLAST system about the amount of transmitting and receiving antennas. This paper presents an adaptive MIMO transmission technique. Adopting uniform channel decomposition (UCD), STBC and antenna grouping, the proposed MIMO scheme can work under high correlative channels and with any number of transmitting and receiving antennas. The performance improvement is also testified by simulations.
