Abstract
A passive and efficient method for reshaping optical pulses is proposed, which uses two successive optical cavities containing nonlinear χ(2) crystals. The proposed scheme ables to reshape low power light pulses, performed at 1.06 μm and at low bit rates. Potentialities of extension of the technique to real optical telecommunication conditions are also discussed.
