Abstract :
The cross-correlation coefficient for two closely spaced, terminated, monopole antennas is calculated using an existing general theoretical approach. The effect of the antenna terminations, as compared to open-circuit conditions, is to allow mutual coupling. The principal effects of including the mutual coupling are closer antenna spacings for a given cross-correlation coefficient, and a related difference between the physical antenna separation and the electrical antenna separation.<>
