Abstract :
The authors present a feasibility study of a slim array antenna of wide slots on a cylinder for mobile telephone. Radiation patterns of a slot element are analyzed and vertical array patterns are synthesized. The wide bandwidth of the slot element is verified by experiment. This array antenna is attractive for the slim base station for the sector system in land mobile communication.<>
