Abstract :
The critical importance of command, control, communications, computer and intelligence (C4I) dominance of the battle space and possible effects of command and control warfare, and information based warfare (IW) creates the need for a concept that aides senior decision makers, battle staff and planners in quickly assessing the C4I sufficiency of force deployment options. Such a rating system must permit quick, meaningful assessments of C4I capabilities in terms of mission and type of unit. This paper presents a prototype “C4I” rating concept that meets this need
