Abstract :
The full phase-only nulling (FPON) and partial phase-only nulling algorithms (PPON) have been compared. Experimental results indicate that, for a large phased array equipped with low-resolution phase shifters, the FPON algorithm is also capable of treating more than one pattern simultaneously in a multiple jammer environment. To treat the case of more jammers and more patterns with the PPON algorithm, better performance may still call for using high-resolution phase shifters and more selected elements in computation.<>
