Abstract :
The Green´s functions for coplanar waveguides (CPWs) are derived using the rapidly convergent complex image technique, and then compared with the Green´s functions obtained using the numerical integration of Sommerfeld integrals. Excellent agreement is obtained. Applications of the Green´s functions are pointed out. It is concluded that the complex image Green´s functions for CPWs are accurate and very efficient, just like those for microstriplines.<>
