Abstract :
A simplified MUX/DEMUX scheme is proposed and demonstrated that can simultaneously multiplex and demultiplex wavelength-interleaved DWDM (WI-DWDM) channels in mm-wave fiber-radio networks. During multiplexing the proposed scheme reduces the carrier-to-sideband ratio (CSR) which enables improved overall link performances compared to other MUX/DEMUX techniques. Our experimental results demonstrate that the proposed MUX/DEMUX scheme can be a practical solution for future WI-DWDM mm-wave fiber-radio systems.
