            Abstract :
A thermal deformation analysis method for a modular mesh antenna composed of a mesh, a cable network, and a supporting structure has been developed. The amount of distortion in the shape and antenna pattern caused by thermal deformation occurring under orbital conditions has been calculated using this method. A novel control method displacing stand-offs has been proposed. This control method reduced the amount of distortion by 50% and restores main lobe gain almost to the order of undeformed surface error.<>
