Abstract :
A description of a general computer program is given which calculates the radar cross section (RCS) of complex targets modeled by CAD (computer-aided design) systems. It is based on the uniform theory of diffraction and comprises two main parts: a general computer library for GTD (geometrical theory of diffraction) applications called PROMETHEE, which manages the asymptotic solutions; and a general ray tracing procedure on CAD targets. In caustic directions GTD/UTD is replaced by physical optics. Some results obtained using the program are presented.<>
