Abstract :
This paper presents the performance of impulse radio ultra wide band up-converted in the 60 GHz band for high rate ad hoc network. We evaluate the performance of a multiuser transmission system based on time hopping code division multiple access. The analytical bit error probability depending on the number of objects in the room is derived. We use a non parametric estimation of the received power and multiuser interference distributions, taking into account the network configuration, two types of antennas (omnidirectional and directional) and the concept that interference in impulse radio is provoked by collisions occurring between pulses in different transmission. Finally the feasibility of the proposed system is shown
