Abstract :
The hyperbolic-end microlens has higher coupling efficiency than the hemispherical-end microlens. This study propose the theoretic analysis concerning the optical-field variations of intensity and wavefront in the SMF waveguide both the hyperbolic-end microlens and the hemispherical-end microlens.
