  • Abstract
    We propose and experimentally demonstrate a novel online reconfigurable microwave transversal filter featuring a considerable (40) number of samples. Multiple apodization profiles can be stored into a controlling computer and loaded via an RS-232 interface. The structure is potentially low cost since it employs a broadband input source and a compact multiwavelength equaliser based on an array of independently controllable Spatial Light modulators. The experimental results show an excellent agreement with the theory.
