Abstract
We constructed fiber-coupled compact terahertz time domain spectroscopy (THz-TDS) system. In this system, we compensate the positive group-delay dispersion (GDD) in fibers by means of gratings. By investigating the relation between the optical pulse-width and the terahertz bandwidth of the system, we optimized the amount of compensation. The transmission measurement of silicon and glass substrates is performed. The system-scanning imagings of IC-card and cutter-blade in envelope are also shown.
