Abstract :
According to the present traffic situation and problems of cross, applied the improved F-Webster timing method, the intersection signal timing were designed in the paper, taking the cross of Haping road and Xingfu road for example. Traffic volume of every lane at the cross was studied in detail, and the existing problems were proposed too. The results showed that, the improved signal timing method could enhance the traffic capacity at cross, average vehicle delay can be decreased, and the traffic hidden dangers at cross could be eliminated too. Other problems were discussed in the paper too.
