Abstract :
A new broadband spectrum analysis scheme which processes real-time analysis mode and sweep spectrum analysis mode is proposed based on all-digital IF (intermediate frequency) technology. The architecture of digital sweep spectrum analysis is firstly presented in a tutorial view, then the principle and hardware realization of high precision RMS (root-mean-square) detection are discussed in detail. Finally, the practical consequent results of digital sweep spectrum analysis for spread spectrum signal are provided.
