Abstract :
The performance simulation of a high bit rate generator of soliton-like optical pulses is presented. The generator can be implemented using common optical fiber technology. Using a phase modulation of a CW laser, the corresponding spreaded spectrum is conveniently filtered to obtain the high rate pulses that can be controlled by the RF modulating source
