Abstract :
A practical adaptive array technique for the GSM is presented. This new approach has the ability to eliminate both co-channel interference and multipath fading. After obtaining the optimum array weights and the DOA of the desired user during the training sequence period, the adaptive processor keeps updating the array weights by using the constrained least mean square algorithm. Computer simulation results show that this technique is effective and has the merit of fast convergent rate
