Abstract :
A hybrid numerical method has been developed for solving harmonic Maxwell equations in the classical electrodynamic context. This formulation allows one to treat any body with general three-dimensional geometry and made of several perfectly conducting or dielectric media. The behavior laws of the dielectric media can be locally inhomogeneous and anisotropic, and with or without dielectric losses. The body is exposed to an external incident electromagnetic wave. The exterior problem is treated by the integral equations method. The interior problem uses local equations for the dielectric parts of the body. A global variational formulation of the coupled problem is developed and makes it possible to formulate a numerization by the finite element method. This numerization uses boundary finite elements for integral operators connected with the exterior problem and localized finite elements for the interior problem.<>
