Abstract :
In this paper, the wideband beamforming based on microphone arrays(MA) is investigated. This method combined the technologies of frequency focusing and sub-band partitioning. The frequency focusing algorithm is to focus the wideband signals to the narrowband signals at the reference frequency. But this algorithm only applies for the signals with fractional bandwidth less than 1.25. The improved focusing algorithm divides the frequency band of signals into several sub-bands to decrease the fractional bandwidth. It reduces the computational complexity without loss of focus error.
