Abstract
The Thermal Step Method (TSM) determines and localizes the space charge density in insulating materials. This technique, already used on disordered structure materials, such as polymers (films, plates, cables) can be applied on ordered materials such as crystals and ceramics. In this study, we give evidence of the power of the Al2O3 RF Ceramic Windows to accumulate space charges (when the sample is submitted to irradiations), and to release these charges by using the Thermally Stimulated Depolarization Currents Method. These results obtained by coupling the Thermal Step Method with the Thermally Stimulated Depolarization Currents Method show the application of this kind of measurement in ordered structure materials such as ceramics
