Reform of computer basics based on modular teaching

The paper analyzes various types of modules for course teaching of Computer Basics (CB) for students in different major fields. Based on the teaching modules, the idea for CB suitable for the students in different majors or personnel trainings is proposed. The modular teaching, n + x mode, in which some drawbacks might be encountered, is presented. For practical applications, the corresponding measures to address those problems are also put forward.
