Abstract
A theoretical and experimental study of H-plane Tee leaky wave antennas is reported. The theoretical analysis is based on the concept of treating metallic perturbations on the antenna structure as independent radiators. In the analysis the width of the perturbing elements is incorporated as an important parameter. The experimental results are compared with the computed results and good agreement is found. It is concluded that the theoretical analysis presented provides a very good tool for the study of these types of leaky wave antenna systems because of its simplicity and computational ease.<>
