Abstract
Circular arrays of N arbitrarily shaped point-fed elements are studied. It is shown that the equation individuating the surface current induced on the elements by the excitations can be decomposed into N uncoupled equations. Furthermore, the synthesis of a given field pattern can be transformed into N independent synthesis problems. This allows a considerable reduction of computer memory requirements.<>
