Abstract :
The growth of eddies from small beginnings to large scale structures is similar to the MHD turbulent instability known as the “alpha effect” which is also the underlying cause of similar hydrodynamic phenomena such as typhoons, hurricanes and tornadoes. The acceptance of the beltramion mechanism implies necessarily the appearance of a turbulent instability. The purpose of this investigation therefore has been to demonstrate the existence of a turbulent instability in oil and to clarify its connection with the MHD alpha effect
