Abstract :
A generalization of the Thomson model to include field enhanced dissociation in the bulk and field dependent unipolar charge injection, with no recombination between electrolytic and injected ions, is formulated. Approximate analytical solutions are given for some asymptotic cases that compare favorably well with the “exact” numerical solutions
