Abstract :
The work is being focused on a rotor part of the interior permanent magnets synchronous machine (I-PMSM). The research had paid attention to the 5th and 7th harmonics. As it has been proven several times [1], [2], [3], [4], [5] a usage of multiple parallel magnets per a one pole instead of just one can affect specific operating properties. This study tries to find out how to divide a single magnet into more parallel ones and how to deploy them in appropriate way, with respect to a reduction amplitudes in selected harmonics. The issues has been solved using analytical calculations and also FEM analysis. The research was being made for a no-load state as well as for a rated load state. A prototype was produced at the end of this research, and likewise outputs of the model could be verified by measuring.
