  • Abstract
    In this paper, we proposed a novel congestion control method, traffic scheduling, for application-specific networks-on-chip (NoC). More precisely, given the traffic profile of the target application, the proposed algorithm automatically allocates the traffic across the on-chip network, such that the network congestion is minimized. The simulation results show the performance of traffic scheduling is better than other congestion-control methods, such as congestion-aware routing.
