Abstract :
Particle swarm optimization is a new type of intelligent optimization algorithm. In order to improve the efficiency of structural fatigue optimization, a novel optimization strategy based on the improved particle swarm optimization algorithm is proposed. According to this strategy, one optimization software is developed. As an application of this strategy, the fatigue optimization of a landing gear is presented. The results show that the optimization results are better than that of traditional optimization method. This improved algorithm with high efficiency and better results has a good promising to the structural fatigue life optimization.
