Abstract :
We model the generation kinetics for dye lasers with static DFB pumped by nanosecond pulsed radiation. It is shown that such laser generates in the general case a train of pulses of picosecond duration, but under nonhigh excess of pumping threshold-a single ultrashort pulse. The mechanism of generation of USP by the laser with static DFB is due to self-gain-switching, which realized by the generated radiation. In work was searched influence of depth of changing of refraction factor of static DFB and excitement level on generation characteristics of pulses of radiation
