Abstract :
Automation has become a good reason to various activities that involve a repetition, high labour cost and shortage of skilful person. When automation offers accuracy, faster and replicable, a routine recognition process which will distract the workforce can be reduced. We developed an automated flies species recognition system using hybrid Artificial Intelligent technique specifically for Maggot Debridement Therapy. Currently, the process of recognition was done manually by referring to the taxonomy or DNA traits. By using such system, the use of incorrect maggot can be avoided since it would consume a live tissue instead of dead tissue. This paper focus on a research methodology description which consists of empirical study, architecture design and development of flies species recognition system.
