Abstract :
The present situation and the technical difficulties in the forest engineering in China were introduced, such as the logging, the cone picking and the stump excavating. Meanwhile, some kinds of the forest industrial robot developed in China were presented, for example the cone picking robot, the stump excavating robot and the logging harvester. By using these robots, the cone picking, the stump excavating and the logging can be operated in the mechanization and automation, and it is very important to promote the sustainable development of the Chinese forestry rapidly. At last, the development direction of the forest industrial robot is pointed out.
