            Abstract :
In this study, EMG changes from trapezius muscle during long-duration contractions at very low load levels were explored. Two endurance tests were performed on four healthy subjects. One was a 10-15 minute arm-holding test with 0-kg load. The other was an 1.5-hour writing test. Median power frequency (MPF) and root mean square (RMS) amplitude of the EMG were calculated. Linear regression analysis was performed. Small but significant decreases in MPF and increases in RMS amplitudes (p<0.05) were found in most subjects for both tests
