Abstract :
We note that photodetectors and recording medium in an optical range detector has an electrical component of an electromagnetic wave of average intensity. That is why for determination of polarization of a reflected wave it is suitable to use Stokes´ method. Stokes´ method is useful for description of either a completely polarized or partly polarized electromagnetic wave and it is based on measurement of its four characteristics
