Abstract
We examine the influence of radiation absorption nonuniformity across a surface of cylindrical thin-wire bolometer and its diameter value for registered profiles. We measure the root-mean square radius (second moment) of the sloping incident focused laser radiation. The root-mean square diameter of the focused laser beam is equal to a quadruple value of the second moment of intensity distribution
