  • Abstract
The authors present a novel approach to Interrogative Polygraphy (Lie Detection), using precise time-localized (ERP) and frequency localized (EEG) brain signals. Fortunately, the EEG and ERP are complementary in the sense that the former may be used as a measure for stress, while the latter can be utilized for differentiating between target (relevant) and non-target (irrelevant) stimuli. The proposed approach offers extended capabilities compared to conventional polygraphy, providing a direct indication about the relevance of the stimulus as well as a measure for the subject´s stress condition
