Abstract :
We build atherosclerosis related gene and protein databases in order to promote atherosclerosis bioinformatics research. The gene and protein information were from databases such as GenBank, Pubmed, OMIM. After related search, we identified 180 atherosclerosis-related genes and 153 proteins which related-information were stored in the database. We designed database software to manage and query information. Through the integration of existing information, we established a secondary database to provide a new convenient bioinformatics query tool for basic research of atherosclerosis.
