Abstract :
This paper presents a new UPS design suitable for personal computer applications. It features a novel AC/DC converter derived from the integration of a nonisolated buck-boost AC/DC converter with an isolated bi-directional DC/DC converter. Benefits include power factor correction, a single high-frequency transformer, inherent current limiting and soft switching
