Abstract :
“Benchmarking” is a tool that can identify how a company is perceived relative to other companies in the same industry. This paper presents a benchmarking technique that provides a quantified, independent, third-party analysis of vendor performance and customer perceptions. Implementation consists of two activities: data collection and analysis. A case study is given to demonstrate the results, based on an actual survey performed by Darnell Group in spring, 1997
