Abstract :
In recent years, with more extensive application of WLAN, its security issues are also increasingly receiving widespread attention. To achieve security, a secure authentication mechanism is needed first of all. With detailed analysis of authentication process of PEAP (protected extensible authentication protocol, PPP) in IEEE802.1x authentication mechanism, this article pointed out its defects, and proposed possible improvement programs.
