Abstract :
Premium thread of OCTG has been widely used in the oil and gas fields because it has good sealing performance, connection strength, etc. In this paper, the current progress of traceability standard of main parameters for premium thread of OCTG is introduced. It is compared several types of the basic form of the traceability standard including measurement error, suitable object, design and processing, measurement and calibration, the advantages and disadvantages of various types of standard. The general design of the traceability standard is recommended, which is useful to design and selection traceability standard of main parameters for premium thread of OCTG.
