Abstract :
This paper briefly summarizes and cites new work which tries to bridge the gap between advanced neural network designs and some of the known capabilities of mammalian intelligence. The new design draws heavily on concepts of hierarchy and temporal chunking from artificial intelligence, and on relational representation of objects and space
