Abstract :
A network for the transmission of experimental digital terrestrial broadcasts is described. Signal coding and multiplexing, network synchronisation, primary distribution over an optical fibre network, and transmission are covered. A number of differences from the networks used for analogue TV broadcasting are pointed out, but solutions are proposed to all of the problems raised
