Abstract
This paper proposes a method for subjectively assessing the quality of audiovisual services. The proposed method is an equivalent S/N conversion method based on paired comparison using a 7-grade scale and using multiple reference signals and anchor signals. From the viewpoint of reproducibility, a method based on paired-comparison is appropriate. To keep the universality of the evaluated value, signals with predetermined noise are used as anchor in the test conditions, and the value evaluated under the test conditions is expressed as the S/N of the equivalent anchor signal. Because the sensitivity of the distinction in quality is high near the reference quality, multiple references are used. Finally, this paper gives the result of experimentally evaluating the effectiveness of multiple reference signals
