  • Abstract
    The conceptual definition of an Open Medical Imaging Telemedicine Platform is presented. We describe the architecture, based on the service elements, the applications and the transfer infrastructure. In this context, a current telemedicine platform implementation is shown. Finally, this platform is the basis of two EU ACTS Projects, EMERALD and BONAPARTE, whose main telemedicine scenarios are also presented
