  • Abstract
Using manufacturer quoted and measured parameters of substrates, the temperature effects on the performance of airborne and spaceborne microstrip patch antennas have been studied. Extreme centre-frequency drifts have been observed for antennas made of teflon-glass laminates. It has been shown that the temperature drift can be substantially reduced using quartz-fibre composite materials.
